Alison Thacker spent over 14 years in the chemical industry before founding TheCheekyClean in 2024. Frustrated by the disconnect between ingredient science and consumer understanding, she created a platform dedicated to translating the "foreign language" of product labels. In 2025, Alison expanded her mission by launching Conscious Cart, a curated marketplace where her chemical industry expertise meets consumer shopping. The inaugural product, Collagen by TheCheekyClean, represents years of research and formulation, applying NSF GMP standards to supplement development.

Alison's approach combines scientific rigor with accessible communication, helping consumers understand not just what's in their products, but why it matters. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio and continues to work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure transparency in every product she approves.
